A young couple's first home in LA. An existing galley kitchen transforms into an open plan that's bookended by new full height cabinetry on one end and a built-in banquet on the other. The placement of the sink and new window center on the home's existing fireplace on the opposite side of the house to connect the spaces and invite a more contemporary style of living.
